After raising dozens of puppies, we've found some favorite supplies. Here are a few items we highly recommend for when you first bring your puppy home. You can buy them anywhere you'd like, but we often find that Chewy.com is the least expensive.
Your puppy will be familiar and comfortable with a crate when they leave our home. The puppies view a crate as their safe, personal space, like a bedroom. You'll love the convenience of having a safe place for your puppy when you can't keep a close eye on them. Helps with potty training! The 22" crate is a great fit. I prefer the double door model.

I love these little beds. They are inexpensive, easy to wash and the puppies and dogs love the bolster around the edges. Sometimes I buy the 24" for a little extra cushion around the edges in a 22" crate.

We use these playpens for the young puppies during the night. I put their crate and a pee pad in the playpen for the nighttime so I don't have to wake up and take them to the potty in the middle of the night. I remove the pee pad during the day. These playpens are inexpensive and fold up small for storage. Great in the house and in the yard. The 24" height is usually enough, but if you have a larger puppy the 30" height might be a better choice.

I first used Snuggle Puppies with my spring 2021 litter and found that they really helped reduce stress on our pups as they crate trained and then moved on to their new homes. Your puppies have been using a Snuggle Puppy at our home and are likely to be more content with a little snuggly friend during crate time and night time. Both the regular size or junior size are a good fit for our pups. You can find them on Amazon or at the link below.

Your puppies may enjoy learning to play fetch with you! These are some of our favorites!

Your pup may like a rope toy like these. They don't need a whole set, but our pups really like this this type of rope toy.
